I have to go back to one of my first memories with my brother. When I was in your 70s, Chevelle, SSI was only 5, but you are the reason I loved fast cars, old school muscle cars. You taught me so much about it. I remember I could call you on the phone. You could listen to my kind of phone and Tell Me what was wrong with it.You're so good at it.You and my sister have done so much for me.In my life, I will always appreciate that and never forget it.I love and miss you so much you will never be forgotten by many you touched so many lives thank you till we meet again my brother give all our people up there a hug for me love you

Pops, all these years that I have been blessed to have you in my life, we have shared so many memories and great times! Everything from you helping do a brake job on the truck, to cutting cattails out of the pond, camping outings (liking the potatoes we made over the fire)(IYKYK), watching the fawns playing in the pond (I will never forget the look of awe you had on your face). To being Gunner"s buddy (he really liked you, surprisingly because he only liked a few...lol). I really loved being able to accompanying you to your 1st Bears game ( a victory at that).
As much as it hurts not having you here to share life with, I know you are always with us in our hearts and memories and will be cherished forever! Tell your cousin Richard Kosky hello, thank him for his service and sacrifice.
Love you pops, thanks for everything

My Dearest Daddy,

You were my protector and my safe place. You stood between me and the world, loved me without condition, and never let me face life alone no matter how bad I was as a kid. Your smile would brighten up any room. I am heartbroken and lost without you, but I will carry your strength, your laughter, and your love with me always. I love you beyond this life. Forever daddy's girl!!

Until we meet again,
your Poodgie

Hi Jean and family, I wanted to let you know you are all in my thoughts during this time.
David will be greatly missed. I have such wonderful memories growing up with him and Donna.
I recently made a request of Gypsy Women of the radio station I listen to, to remember you and David. Every time I hear this song I think of when you and David started dating.
I was glad I was able to see you both when you came to visit me here in Nebraska. I think about that time often.
I love you, Jeannie. My prayers are with you. God bless you all.

In Loving Memory of My Father

I´ll miss being able to call my dad with all my random questions - he always had a solution, no matter what it was. It´s hard not having him here physically, but I still talk to him often. Deep down, I know he´s guiding us and watching over all of us.

I´m so blessed to have had 47 years with him, and that he was here to watch Makayla grow up and she knew and loved her Papa.

One of the reasons I chose to have a destination wedding was because I knew he wouldn´t miss walking me down that aisle, no matter where it was. He enjoyed Mexico! That moment will forever be etched in my heart.

Dad, I love you. Your presence will always live within me - in every memory, every smile, and every answered question I still hear in your voice. Rest in peace, know that we are all together taking care of Mom.

Dad how easily it was to call you that. You accepted me years ago into this beautiful strong loving and crazy family. Years ago Brenda brought home this friend that from day one and on you never treated me as anything else than one of your own. I will never forget that. Then all my children you love and accept as well and now they are part of this family growing and keeping your memory alive. We will always tell our Papa stories and keep you alive in our hearts. I have so many memories I could share but the ones that stand out are our mornings on the porch in Cicero you would be having your morning coffee and we would just sit and talk about anything and everything, your wise words, kindness and caring will always remain with me. Thank you for helping me be the person I am I love you and will miss you alway. You will always be the model of what a man, husband , father, grandfather and great grandfather should be. Heaven definitely gained a great man.

My silly Papa,

I´ve had the luxury of being loved by you for 25 years. You´ve shaped everyone in our family into who they are today. Your resilience and hard work will always be talked about. From going camping every summer to playing bags together, I am thankful for it all. You are the best Papa ever. You´ve created an Army of a family but none of us would want it any other way. I will make sure to always be your Weasel. I will always save you a seat Papa, I love you!

Papa started with 5 wonderful children, who would years down the line, give him the joy of 11 Grandkids. Those grandchildren are now growing up and having children of their own! His legacy will live on and as his family, we couldn´t be more happy looking back and reminiscing on all of the good times we had, knowing he was the start of it all. Papa was the true center of this family and though many of us not longer share the name, the SCHAUMANN blood is strong. And our bond stronger. No matter what comes to our family, how many beautiful people we welcome into the chaos, we stay together as one! We will always love you, Papa. We miss you so much
