I had the pleasure of knowing Dave well. In fact, it was Dave who led me to Jesus in 1980. I have no doubt that he was given those words we long to hear...Well Done, good and faithful servant.

I have fond memories of listening to missionary reports that Dave and Esther shared at the Sandstone Evangelical Free Church.
I was always encouraged and challenged by their faith, as they shared what God had done to reach the Dani people.

Dave Scovill along with his wife Esther, were household names in the history UFM/Crossworld who were known and loved by all. They were greatly used of God in one of the great people movements of our times, amongst the Dani people. We were honored to count them as part of our ministry family.

I appreciated Dave´s sense of humor & his honest but upbeat style of communicating. I´m glad that he is happily home w/Jesus & his other beloved ones.

Dave was my missionary growing up. I was raise in the church where God called him into full time ministry and still attend that church near Askov. He opened my eyes to missionaries and their needs. We always enjoyed his visits and prayed for them regularly. Well done good and faithful servant. Our prayers and sympathy to all who knew and loved him. May God comfort you with fond memories.
