David Neil "Dave" Searle

David "Dave" Neil Searle, 79, of Wilder, passed away peacefully at home on February 17, 2026. Dave was born December 13, 1946 to Robert Searle and Thelma Bromilow (nee: Stinson) in Chicago, Illinois. He was a proud Army Veteran who flew helicopters in Vietnam. He also worked many years as a Master Electrician.

He was preceded in death by father, Robert Milten Searle, mother, Thelma Louise Bromilow, son, Jeffrey Searle, and daughter, Melissa Searle, sister, Norma Jean Novak, step-father, Newton Duke Woodrow, step-father, Roger Bromilow. Dave is survived by his wife, Janet Searle, daughter, Kristy (Tony) James, step-son, Jason Embry, sister, Deborah (Mike) Pastorios, granddaughter, Felisha Houston, and 4 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Monday, February 23, 2026 at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Bellevue. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm at the Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home. A private military interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
