David Sepanski Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Johnson-Schuller Chapel - Wadena on Oct. 10, 2024.
The private graveside service celebrating the life of David Sepanski of Wadena will be held at a later date.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Wadena, MN.
David, age 81, passed away with family at his side on October 9, 2024, at Lakewood Health System Care Center in Staples, MN.
David was born the only child to Peter and Anne (Garkowicz) Szczepanski on August, 24, 1943, at Oak Park, Il. (As a child, the spelling of the family's last name changed to Sepanski.) He was raised and attended Catholic school in Argo and later graduated with a bachelor's degree at Iowa College. David and Kathleen Anne Ronczkowski were married on June 10, 1972, in Argo. They moved to Wadena, MN, where David purchased the Little Store neighborhood grocery and he eventually became a children's mental health worker. When away from work, he enjoyed hunting, and his main outdoor interest was fishing with Kathy and his family. He spent his retirement and his last days in Wadena.
A kind and gentle man, David never had a bad thing to say about anyone he met. He loved his wife of 52 years and will be remembered as a true family man.
Preceding David in death were his parents, Peter and Anne; and parents-in-law, Helen and Paul Ronczkowski.
Forever remembering David will be his wife, Kathy A. Sepanski; children: Lucinda (Bryan) Wegscheid of Wadena, Heather (Josh) Dunker of Brandon, and estranged daughter, Kathleen E. (Delmar) Ferrel; 10 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren; along with a host of friends.
