He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ota and W.R. Brown; aunts, Brenda Bright, Verna Brown Jenkins and Linda Benson; uncles, Roger Brown and Robert Brown; special friend, Dawn "Nikki" Reece.
He is survived by his daughter August Shaub of Bybee; mother, Reta Brown of Cosby; Jacob "Reece" Weeks, who was like a son to him, of Newport; brothers, Stephen Brown of Nashville, Jonathan Shaub of Talbott, Phillip Shaub of West Virginia; sister, Rachael Shaub of Cosby; also several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, June 29, 2025 in Jenkins Family Cemetery.
