David E. Shellenbarger
DEFIANCE – David E. Shellenbarger, 65, of Defiance died Friday, August 2,2024, at the Laurels of Defiance. He was born July 19, 1959 in Paulding to Al and Jean (Englehardt) Shellenbarger. His mother is deceased and his father survives in Oakwood.
Also surviving are two brothers: Jim Shellenbarger of Edon, OK and Roger Shellenbarger of Wichita, KS.
David served in the National Guard. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 5, 2025 at the HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Pastor Bill Myers officiating. Burial will follow in North Mount Zion Cemetery, Continental. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, INC., P. O. Box 111180 Nashville, TN 37111-1180. Online condolences may be expressed at www.heitmeyerfuneralhome.com.
