David L Shepherd

David L. Shepherd, age 75 of David, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at his residence. He was born September 8, 1949 in David, Kentucky to the late Jay & Kittie Shepherd. He was the husband of Emma Lou Marsillett Shepherd. He was a body shop repairman for Worldwide Equipment and of Freewill Baptist faith. Along with his wife he is survived by his Daughter: Jennifer (Matthew) Harvey of East Point, Kentucky; Brother: John (Naomi) Shepherd of Findlay, Ohio & Sister: Barbara (Ed) Shepherd of Caney, Kentucky. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his Brothers & Sisters: Arlen E. "Paddlefoot" Shepherd, Laymon Shepherd, Beacher Shepherd, Deford Shepherd, Christine Stillwell, Delores Baldridge, Joyce Whitaker, Easter Stanley, Shirley Kilgore & Myrtle Pitts. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Visitation will begin Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 6pm at the funeral home and will continue all day Wednesday, January 15, 2025
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 1pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky with Phillip Ramey officiating
Burial will follow Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, Kentucky
