David Dean Smith, 74, of Waynesville, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Mission Hospital. He was the son of the late Vernon and Mary Reindl Smith, in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Smith.
David grew up in the mid-west and retired as purchasing manager for the construction division of Raytheon after 30 years of service.
He enjoyed golf, traveling, cooking and most of all playing with his grandchildren.
David is survived by his wife of 53 years, Susan Teas Smith. A son, Zachary Smith and brother, Bob Smith; three grandchildren, Mason, Carter and Caden along with their mother Tiffany Smith.
No services are planned at this time.
