DAVID STEBBINS age 71, beloved husband for 45 years of Joni (nee Hrovat); cherished son of the late Dick and Betty (nee Miller); dearest brother of the late John (wife Alison), Connie Ferrell (husband Jim deceased) and Jeffrey; devoted brother-in-law of the late Stephen (wife Joanne) and Robert (wife Catherine) Skapura, dear uncle of Holly and Chad Bargerstock, Scott and Kayla Ferrell, Stephen and Jackie Skapura, Neal Skapura and the late John Skapura, Deborah Wilk and Alan Skapura.
Dave was born on April 26, 1953 and passed away on May 9, 2024. He was born in Akron and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1971. He graduated from Akron General Nursing School in 1976 and received his BA and BSN from Ursuline College. He worked as an RN in a variety of nursing specialties including ICU, organ donation, home care and retired from the cath lab at Hillcrest Hospital. Dave was a member of the Eagles, he loved fantasy football, hunting, fishing, gardening, golf and dogs. He was a true fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Ohio State Buckeyes. Those who knew him admired his compassionate, caring and devoted ways. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Celebration of Life Service Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 3PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Dave at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) SATURDAY 1-3 PM.
