CENTRAL CITY - David Glenn Stirsman, 54, of Central City, died Friday, January 13, 2017, at 2:26AM at his home. Mr.Stirsman was born September 6, 1962, in Muhlenberg County. He was a clerk at the Muhlenberg County Opportunity Center, and was a member of Cherry Hill Baptist Church. He loved magic tricks and decorating for Halloween. He enjoyed his family and friends, and worshipping at Cherry Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mildred Stirsman. He is survived by his sister, LaDonna Neal; brothers Danny Stirsman and Stanley Stirsman; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, January 16, 2017, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Ron Metheny officiating. Burial in Cherry Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday after 9:00AM at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to David Stirsman Memorial Fund, c/o Tucker Funeral Home, P.O. Box 548, Central City, KY 42330. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.

I was shocked to hear about David going to Heaven yesterday. I will never forget when David was little, he always followed everyone around asking to sleep with them that night. I know he was scared. Now he will sleep in the arms of God. Midge also made a fake fireplace and chimney to go over the doorway. David was afraid Santa wouldn't leave presents because there was no fireplace for his to bring the present into the house. My family's prayers will be with Donna, Danny and Stanley and family. R.I.P dear David.

Donna,Danny and Stanley so sorry for your loss. I didn't know that your mom had passed she was a very good mother figure to me . i will never forget the David said that mom wants to talk to you,that's the day she ask me to come an stay with us a while till you get back up on your feet,your family took me in and treated me like you all was my family. David Was A Friend Of Mine And Has Been For Many Many Years
Also My Cousin Is Married To His Brother
When I Would Go To The Opportunity Center And See Him There Working He Would Always Make Me Smile With His Since Of Humor And Would Try To Help Anyone He Could I Was Shocked When I Found Out He Had Passed This Morning And I Was So Sad For The Family. He Will Defiantly Be Missed By Those Who Knew Him And The Kind Of Person He Was R.I.P. MY FRIEND
