David Alan Streeting, 70, of Muskegon, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025, he was born June 24, 1955, in Muskegon, the son of Robert and Jeannette (Scurlock) Streeting.

On January 21, 1977, David married Jean (Peterson) Streeting. The two spent 42 loving years together and were blessed with three children. Jean precedes him in death.

David was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was very hard working and always had a smile on his face. In his free time, he enjoyed water skiing, rollerblading, biking, kayaking, playing basketball and softball, and spending time at the beach.

David is survived by: his children, Tanya Painter, Trisha (Andrew) Genei, Ty (Sheri) Streeting; grandchildren, Kayla, Harley, Jessica, Hailey, Quintin and Evalee; sisters, Pamela Warford and Linda (Robert) Penny; brother, Mark Streeting; and numerous nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by: his wife of 42 years, Jean Streeting; his parents, Robert and Jeannette Streeting; and sister, Nancy Phifer.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Friday, October 24, 2025, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, 413 South Mears Avenue, Whitehall, MI 49461.
