David Strickland Obituary
David was a dedicated employee of Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for 35 years, serving in the IT Department as a desktop technician. He was known by his colleagues as a kind and helpful soul, always willing to lend a hand and remembered by many as "the nicest man ever." His humble nature and laid-back personality made him a joy to work with, and he will be deeply missed by the entire workforce at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
David was an avid Florida Gator fan, loved playing pool, and had a special fondness for his dogs, especially his favorite breed, the Doberman pinscher.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 23 years, Kris Strickland; his sister Susan Fletcher (David); his brothers Steve Strickland (Ruth), Scott Strickland, and Tim Strickland; and many nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents, Iris and Lee Strickland.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 12th at 1:00 PM at River of Life Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00 noon.
