David was the first true friend in the neighborhood. After moving back to Columbia five years ago. He always had a smile, a pep in his step, was humble and he was sincere always in asking how life was going . Our conversations often went in the direction of autism /mental health. And how to support those young adults in the work field. That´s my background and his passion to help the community. He left a big impression on me with A go gett´m attitude . Thank you David. I´ll be praying that last prayer request you asked for. And Paying it forward!! Betsy Bahler

Although I only met David some 4 years ago, I have felt we knew each other for a full lifetime; I came to know a person of unbounded compassion,
profound integrity and a very high energy & enthusiasm for life. David was an engaging person, very easy to like and admire. As business colleagues we shared goals and challenges with mutual trust and confidence.
David was blessed with a gifted intellect which he used not only to power his career but also to extend help, support, training and mentoring to a wide range of contacts that came into his orbit over the years. David was always effusive in his wish to help find / create good for everyone in his circle of friends and business contacts. In my experience David was unique in his constant passionate desire to see good come to everyone always.
Also notably David was equally at home discussing social topics, quantum physics, electronics engineering, green energy technology and an unending range of subjects in which he cultivated a deep interest ongoing.
The absence of David's presence in our lives will be felt with deep sadness.

I first met David as a Junior in High School. We met at the Career Center and were lab partners in electronics class. He was one of my best friends. I still remember they day we single clocked a Z80 Micropocessor and manually coded it to flash an LED. We looked at each other and said, "We can control anything!" He was one of the smartest people I ever knew, an entrepreneur, an engineer, and aa friend. He will be missed.

David was our friend and neighbor. David, myself, and another neighbor often walked across the street to Addisons for beer, apps, and good conversations. He was kind, a great listener, and genuinely cared about others and our community. David will be missed.

I was David's house cleaner for years! I just cleaned for him this last Tuesday. This makes me so sick what happened to him. Rest in peace.
