David Sturtevant Obituary
David Sturtevant passed away on January 31, 2026. He was 77 and born in Manchester, Connecticut.
David spent most of his life in Somers, CT. He owned Turnpike Imported Car Repair, where he specialized in repairing and selling classic cars. He had a brief career as a racecar driver. David was also a proud volunteer at the Somers Congregational Church's food pantry, Champs Place.
David is survived by his two children, Michael Sturtevant of Stafford, CT, Missy Mae-Ng, her spouse Maxwell Mae-Ng and their child Nori Mae-Ng of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, as well as his brother and his spouse, Mark and Tammy Sturtevant, and his nephew Jacob Sturtevant of Stafford, CT.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Somers Congregational Church's food pantry, Champs Place. Donations can be made by venmo to @somers_scc, by paypal to @somerscongregationalchurch, or by mail to PO Box 295, Somers, CT 06071. Calling hours will occur on Wed., Feb. 25 from 6-8 p.m. at Somers Funeral Home.
