David Swallow Obituary
Born on April 28, 1956, to the late Patricia (Jansen) and Raymond Swallow.
Loving father of Michael (Heidi) Swallow and Pamela (Joseph) Wassong; proud grandfather of Ava, Gianna, Nico, and Karac; loved brother of Susan, Deborah, and Chuck (Kristine) Swallow; uncle and friend to many.
David had a deep love for music, motorcycles, and cars, and he especially enjoyed spotting bald eagles. He had an adventurous spirit and quick wit. Generous in consistently offering his help to others, he was also a devoted caretaker. He was a skilled handyman, and a hard worker who always went to work. David embraced a simple life, while being a man of depth who loved God and his family with unwavering tenacity.
A Memorial Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 5 p.m. until the Memorial Service at 7 p.m. at Hickey Memorial Chapel, 2100 Calistoga Drive, New Lenox, IL 60451.
