Although I did not know David well, I did know him through 7th and 8th grade a bit. What I remember specifically was a true uniqueness in his spirit, attitude and his dress. I may have slept over his house a time or two and do remember well the welcoming feeling felt in his home. Thinking back I would have to say he was way ahead of his time in terms of dealing with teenage angst and was on to bigger and more meaningful issues. "Smoother than a fresh jar of Skippy". Rest well David.

David and I grew up together and our parents were good friends. I remember eating at his parent's deli often-where I gained my love for Reubens and matzo ball soup. David was, and will always be one of the nicest, unique, and sweetest person I have ever known. We reconnected several years ago on FB and I was not surprised to find out how successful he had become. We joked how I married a nice jewish boy and he said, "I hear they make good husbands". He was one of my first loves. I still remember him as one of the coolest stylish guys in our class-with his bell bottom jeans, turtleneck sweaters, and Nehru jacket. He inspired my fashion sense. He was always reaching out to help others. But the thing I remember most was his incredible family and the love he expressed for them. I know David will be missed by all who knew him and his life will always be a blessing and cherished memory. See you on the other side-friend.
