David Warren Tepe of Cranford, New Jersey sadly left us on Monday, May 20, 2024 while at home. He leaves behind his Daughter, Heather Tepe and Son-in-Law, Scott Difford, his Son, Tyler Tepe and Ann Merritt, his partner of many years. He is also survived by hisBrother, Kevin Tepe and his two Nephews, Kyle and Jamie Tepe. Dave was born in Jersey City and is predeceased by his parents, Frank Tepe and Marie Tepe (nee Palmieri). He was raised in North Bergen and then started his own family in Little Falls. He was a self-employed General Contractor having started his own business known as East Coast Carpentry. He loved to build.
Dave was a kind soul and a good man. He enjoyed life while he could. He was an avid fisherman having reeled in sharks, sailfish and Dolphin fish in Ft. Lauderdale. He was also a hunter of deer, bear and other game having hunted for bear in Labrador, Canada. His last trips included a hunt in Pennsylvania with his Son Tyler where record rams were harvested. He also traveled to St. Petersburg, Florida to attend "A Very Broadway Christmas" produced and performed in by Heather and Scott. Dave was so very proud of his children and loved them dearly. He also loved to travel to Jamaica having been there several times with his family. He spent as much time at the beach as he could. He was very proud of his Harley Davidson Sportster, his pick-up truck and his mounted fish and game. We will miss Dave and his smile very much!
