David F. Tessein

David F. Tessein, 73, of Spotswood, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
Born and raised in Princeton, Dave settled in Spotswood in 1980. He worked as a restaurant manager for many years before managing the service department of FBN Auto Sales in Highland Park. Dave enjoyed traveling, going to the beach at Seaside Park, fresh water fishing with his grandchildren, playing poker and bocce with his friends in Spotswood's Clearwater Village and watching the New York Giants and the New York Yankees. Above all else, Dave enjoyed attending all of his grandchildren's activities.
Predeceased by his parents, Rudolph and Josephine, he is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rosemary; his children Jennifer Obregon and her husband Marlon, Melanie Jezierny and David and his wife Shelly; his sister Linda Baldino and her husband Jack; his grandchildren Michael Taveras and his wife Autumn, Emilio and Emily Obregon, Mason Hyman and Brianna and Jake Tessein, and; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 17th from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial from Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Dave's memory may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or The American Cancer Society.
