The world, and especially his family, has lost one of the really good guys. I´ve known Uncle Dave since the 1950´s when he was dating my aunt Nancy Boyd (my father´s sister). I remember summers at Oquaga Lake and Camp Hilltop in upstate New York when I was a kid. Dave and Nancy were the "cool couple" among the college students who worked at the camp. Dave was one of those rare young men who actually paid attention to little kids. He was fun and funny and definitely cool. I didn´t see him a lot in the following decades, but he kept in touch every Christmas letting us know what was happening in his life. I was especially impressed that he loved seeing photos of my son´s children. I will miss those letters. My heartfelt condolences to everyone who loved him. Photo from Dave´s 80th birthday party with nephew Gary and niece Terry.
