Mr. David Gerald Tomlinson, Sr., 66, of Lake City, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023 at his residence.
Mr. Tomlinson was born on July 26, 1956, in
Little Rock, Arkansas, son of the late Gerald M. Tomlinson and Adele Moore Tomlinson. Mr. Tomlinson was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and served in Desert Storm. Upon his retirement from the military, he worked with Spectrum Cable where he retired. He was a dedicated father who loved his children and grandchildren. Mr. Tomlinson was a member of the American Legion.
Surviving are his son, David Gerald (Jackie) Tomlinson, Jr. of Lake City; daughter, Kristie Nicole (Danny) Phillips of Johnsonville; grandchildren, Corbin Ashton Tomlinson, Evan Michael Tomlinson and Elyssa Mikayla Tomlinson, all of Charleston, Adelyn Breann Morris, Ava Grace Tomlinson and Nathan Edward Tomlinson, all of Lake City, Lexi Deandra Boyington of Hemingway, Kailey Nevaeh Boyington and Braedon William Darvin Boyington, both of Johnsonville; great grandson, Weston Tucker Hughes of Hemingway; 3 sisters and other extended family members.
Mr. Tomlinson was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Ward Tomlinson.
Per the request of Mr. Tomlinson, there will be no funeral services.
