In 2004 I found myself a new widow and needed training to go back to work. I decided to go to Peninsula College to pursue a nursing degree and was taking the pre-required classes, one of which was chemistry.
Having graduated in 1974, I have been away from school many years I was finding chemistry very challenging.
One of my children suggested I contact "Mr. Trapp" and see if he might direct me to one of his students, perhaps I would be able to find a student tutor.
I met Dave at Sequim High School and explained my dilemma, at which point he offered to meet me after school 2 days a week and would help me himself.
He tutored me all that first quarter, I passed the chemistry course and was eventually accepted in the PC RN program, after which went on to get my Nurse Practitioner Degree from WSU.
