David Arden Tubbs

David Arden Tubbs, 94, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2026, at his home in Hudson, Indiana.

Born on July 26, 1931, in Hudson, Indiana, David was the son of Arden and Geraldine (Johnson) Tubbs. He graduated from Salem Center High School in Steuben County, Indiana.

David married the love of his life, Grace Creech on July 18, 1953.

He was a printing press operator at Moore Business Forms in Angola, Indiana for 32 years before retiring.

David was a member of the Hudson United Brethren Church in Hudson, Indiana.

He enjoyed farming, mechanics and inventing. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Surviving are his four sons, James D. (Shirley) Tubbs of Santa Ynez, California, Daniel L. (Kim) Tubbs of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, Jeffery C. (Rita) Tubbs Vanderbilt, Michigan and Joel (Rebecca) Tubbs of Hudson, Indiana; 14 beloved grandchildren and several precious great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his two brothers, Philip (Norma) Tubbs of Munster, Indiana and Paul (Lue) Tubbs of Berne, Indiana along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife of 43 years, Grace Tubbs on July 15, 1997, and his sister, Elizabeth Ann "Becky" Tubbs.

Visitation will be from 4-6 PM., Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Hudson Unted Brethren Church, 516 N. Main Street, Hudson, IN 46747.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 3, 2026, at the Hudson United Brethren Church, Hudson, Indiana with Pastor Craig Burkholder officiating.

Burial will be immediately following the service at Circle Cemetery, Hudson, Indiana.
