Marcile and family. Even though Dave (DLT to me) had our differences and rough roads in the past, I am truly sad to learn of his passing. I will forever remember my career and times shared in Dallas, Raleigh and other parts of the world we worked. May our good Lord grant him eternal peace and give you the strength to know you´ll see him once again.

As the current Chair of the Mineta Transportation Institute Board of Trustees, I would like to express condolences to his family and friends on David Turney's recent passing. As Grace Crunican, one of our members, has already noted, he was indeed a delightful individual and a strong and effective leader. His faithful service to the Institute was reflected in his designation as an Emeritus Trustee when he left the Board. He will be missed.

To Dave's Marcile and family, I just want to thank you for sharing Dave with us. He was a delightful leader on the Mineta Board of Directors and a very gracious APTA member. He always brought sunshine to some very gnarly issue discussions. What a delightful community member!! Blessings to your family as you say goodbye. grace crunican

Marcile and family. It was my honor to know Dave for 30-plus years and to work with him and learn from him. Karen and I were both honored to have you both as part of our wedding in 2006. Dave had a very strong faith and he is now enjoying his eternal reward. May he rest in the eternal peace of the Lord.
