David Unisko Obituary

DEFIANCE - David P. Unisko, 68, of Defiance, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Mercy Defiance Hospital.

He was born on May 6, 1954, to the late Frances and Mildred (Kulczak) Unisko in Toledo, Ohio. David enjoyed his job driving his tow motor at Sauders in Archbold. He was a member of Defiance Eagles Aerie 372 and Moose Lodge 2094. He loved family cookouts, bonfires, his coffee and spending time with his family and grandkids. David was very selfless, never met a person he didn't consider a friend and was always willing to help others. He will be sadly missed by his family and many good friends.

David is survived by his sons, Kaleb (Kendra) Unisko of Defiance and Justin (Lesley) Wilhelm of Napoleon, Ohio, five grandchildren, Ellie, Norah, Maddie, Sawyer and Hudson, his sisters, Margie Scott of Defiance and Marie (Rick) Somogyi of Monroe, Michigan, and his lifelong friend, Sandy Unisko.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Frank Unisko.

There will be no services or visitation. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
