I'm finally home due to the obvious (pandemic) and able to watch the 9/11 commemorative. When they got up to the V's and heard David's name, it truly brought tears to my eyes. Even after 19 years, I still remember how nice David was to me when we both worked on the 101st fl. I used to go visit him & his team in the Mailroom just as an excuse to get away from my desk. He even allowed me to allow my son to hang out in the Mailroom with them on days when I had to bring my son into work.

He and all of our fellow Aon friends will forever be in my thoughts. God bless to his wife and family!

At a ceremony in Danville Illinois, on September 11. 2011, I was given this hero's name to hold up in honor of his memory and sacrifice. I will never forget, I pray for his family and friends left behind.

David,

Just want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray for you and your family, and I hope you give them the strength to get by everyday. You were a wonderful man who gave 100% of yourself at work I can only imagine how much you gave to your family. I'm sure they are proud. You'll be in my heart.

I did not know you or anyone else who passed away on that morning of September 11, 2001. I am so sorry that so many people where killed out of pure hate and evil. I will never forget what happened and yet I still can not make myself understand the kind of hate that could do something like this. May God Bless the family and friends of this wonderful man. Rest in peace forever more..........

We are very sorry for the tremendous loss of David.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

David was a very pleasant man. Very dedicated to his job. Yet always had time to smile. Constantly talking about his daughter. He was wonderful and I thank god to have known such a wonderful man. David you are missed dearly.
