So sorry for your loss. He will be remembered by his many fine movie productions. May the God of all comfort be the source of your strength now and in the days and months ahead.

I first worked with David in the 1964 Season at Stratford-on-Avon with the R.S.C. His "Richard II" was unforgettable. 25 years on we meet up again working on "Time After Time" in the US. Still full of humor and always calling me "Sir James". We met for the final time on "Titanic". The last contact I had was a letter from him saying he was about to tackle "Lear" and wrote "a bit cheeky don't you think - I haven't played Shakespeare in over 20 years". I have a memory of him way back in 1966 shooting "Morgan". We chatted in between shots and on leaving we had a hug and shook hands. I felt something in my hand - it was 5 pounds. That was David - a hell of an actor and caring human being.

Family or friends would call him as Dave had best voice for Ra's al Ghul to DC Animated Universe and Jor-El in Episode: "The Foundling" of 1994 Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman!

David Warner was a voice I would always recognize in a movie, television show or in animation. He had a very distinctive style that made his acting skills genuinely seem like whatever part he played he was that character.
