My heart truly aches for all of you. When I met David (when we were kids) in the late 70's, he had such a warm, sweet smile on his face. I'll never forget it. Throughout the years, his smile, coupled with his good soul, was always comforting. David was so very special because he had a gift - and it was that smile. His smile spoke for him. The kind of smile that said, I'll be your friend if you need one, and he never had to speak a word. I'll miss that.

Mrs. Watkins, thank you for sharing your son with all of us. He has given many of us a lot of great memories, hard-belly laughs - with tears running out our eyes (and down on our legs!) and a comfort of just knowing he was our true friend.
