David Lee Webber of Princeton, IL, passed away peacefully at home on March 4, 2025, at the age of 75 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on June 28, 1949, David was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cherished the simple pleasures of country life.
David graduated from Riverdale High School in Port Byron, IL, and furthered his education at St. Ambrose University. His career spanned over 30 years in management with notable companies including John Deere, Sears Mfg., Precision Bend, Red Jacket/Marley Pump Co., and after retirement, he enjoyed several years as an associate at the local Neighborhood ACE Hardware.
Known for his hard work and dedication, David was also a passionate golfer, fisherman and metal detector enthusiast. He found joy in the quiet moments with his special friend, Freckles the cat, and valued the solitude of rural living.
