I continue to think of Dave, especially when considering my faith journey. I´d like to think he would be proud of my efforts to follow Christ. I wish I had stopped by his house more often to talk. I will always remember him as instrumental in my faith journey and athletic experience.

I continue to think of Mr. Wilcox any time I do a few pushups and whenever I´m asked to name people who were significant in my faith journey. I wish I had made a better effort to stay in touch with him. Thank you Mr. Wilcox.

I´m so very sorry for those Mr. Wilcox left behind on this earth. He helped me gain confidence at Brookside, encouraging me to do push-ups which led to participating in cross country and track. But the most important thing he did for was to always ask, "How´s your faith journey?". He was and will continue to be an inspiration to me, most importantly in my faith. "Thank you Mr. Wilcox!"
Those words are not enough to express how I feel but they´re all I have. God bless you and all your family.

I was so sorry to hear about Dave's passing. It was always surprising he remembered his students from Brookside . He was a wonderful man.
