David Wilkinson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley Funeral Home - Marlton on Jan. 15, 2026.
David J. Wilkinson, age 63, of Somerdale, NJ, passed away on January 13, 2026.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac F. Wilkinson and Joan H. Wilkinson (née Haines). He is survived by his loving siblings, Kathy Davis (Craig), Linda Dorman (William), and Mark Wilkinson (Iris). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
For more than thirty years, Dave worked at Lockheed Martin, showing the same loyalty and dedication there that he brought to all parts of his life. To many, Dave was affectionately known as "Freedom Rock," a nickname that perfectly captured his spirit. He loved music, dancing, and being surrounded by people. He shared a love of the Grateful Dead with his brother Mark, and one of his happiest memories was seeing them live at Madison Square Garden in 1987.
Dave had a big heart and a genuine love for his nightlife crowd-friends who became family through music, laughter, and shared memories. He lived in the moment, enjoyed life fully, and made the people around him feel welcome and accepted.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dave's viewing on Monday, January 19th, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home, Route 73 and Evesham Road, Marlton, where a time of sharing will be held at 11:30 a.m. At the request of the family, interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dave's memory to The Parkinson's Foundation. www.parkinson.org

A million years ago Bigg Romeo got their first PE gig and I was more excited to meet you than getting to play a new room. You were always so kind to us, never wanted anything and then visited us at PJs, Otts and even Clancys. You were a class act and I hope you´ll watch over our late nights and our safety..... but now don´t just stand on the side of the stage.... Come up with us.... I´ll save you a spot right next to me....

Thank you Dave! You will be missed.
