My dear, dear friend, you have been so missed for a long time. Your Pitcairn friends will never forget how you captured our hearts with showing us how essential our relationship with Jesus was, with the endless hours you gave to us through our individual trials, our heartbreaks, and being with us in our enjoyable hours. Thank you for being you. God met you saying, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." Love Ya, Ev

Of course it was God´s timing that sent Dave Williams to Mount Hope
Presbyterian Church in Penn Hills outside of Pittsburgh Pa to do his internship...I can remember Dave being a real help at our church! I also remember getting back from college one summer & taking our youth group out of the church building and having it in people´s homes as it grew & grew in numbers... Of course who was my first guest speaker after a a quickie volleyball game...Dave , of course !!
He inspired me as well as kept me going through that summer...

Like many couples we were married by David. I remember he said our lives are like a three legged milk stool. It cannot stand unless God is there, intricately joined, with the husband and wife

I met Dave as a neighbor on Taylor St in 2014. Dave has a great sense of humor. We enjoyed roasting one another. He kindly offered for my son to live in his home for many years when he wanted to stay in Oak Park after I moved in and out of the area. Dave often wanted to pray for the things we talked about together. I saw his trust in God not only in those prayers, but in the way he opened his home, served his community, counseled people, and even showed true empathy to the many people who did work in his home. I considered him a friend and look forward to getting back to some good roasting when I see him again in the next world that Jesus has made for our endless days with no more dying.
