David Williams has always been one that I´ve deeply admired. His kind heart, gentle smile, head and heart full of wisdom, and most importantly, his love for his creator were evident.
Admittedly, while I know David is in the presence of his lord and savior, my heart is heavy because his earthly presence will be so missed. We shared similar health diagnoses (certainly not something to brag about), and could relate to how some of those meds made us feel. We also shared our distain of birds who liked to dive bomb our outside plants and eat away at the precious fruit underneath. Speaking of fruit, we are to be known by the fruit we produce and David Williams produced good fruit. His life reflected Christ - always.
While it´s so hard to say our good-byes to this earthly life, we know what awaits for believers. This is not the end.
Thank you, David, for providing such a great example for us to follow. Thank you for your leadership, your vision, and your commitment to the gospel.
Pick out a really large mansion. I´ll be here smiling from ear to ear - knowing I won´t be the one cleaning it.
