David Williams Obituary

David Anthony "Tony" Williams

August 11, 1953 - December 9, 2025

David Anthony "Tony" Williams, age 72, passed away unexpectedly with family by his side on December 9, 2025, at Atrium Health Cabarrus. He was born in Concord, August 11, 1953, to Doris Raymer Williams and the late David" Howard" Williams.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Christina "Chris" Clayton Williams; mother, Doris Raymer Williams; sisters, Marcia Williams Millsapps (Mike), Cindy Williams Miller (Reggie), along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Tony was a wonderful husband; he enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors (kayaking, fishing, and camping). Had a great appreciation of music, a good crossword and a phenomenal trivia buff. Tony and Chris lived many years in the Florida Keys, developing long-lasting friendships before moving back to Concord, NC. They were married and spent 32 great years together.

Tony will be remembered for his fantastic sense of humor(always with a joke sliding into the conversation), his love of wood and craftsmanship as a carpenter, which he acquired from his father.

A Celebration of Life Memorial for Tony will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2025, at Cabarrus Funeral & Cremation, 3892 NC-73 E, Concord, NC 28025.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Humane Society of Concord and Greater Cabarrus County in memory of Tony Williams.

Cabarrus Funeral & Cremation are honored to be serving the Williams family.
