David "Keith" Willinger Obituary
David "Keith" Willinger, 66, entered eternal life on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Clark Memorial Hospital. Born on December 9, 1957, in Louisville, Kentucky, Keith was the beloved son of David and Piccola Willinger (Hahn).
Keith dedicated 32 years of his professional life to Essroc Cement, where he began working in 1992 until his retirement. His dedication and work ethic were evident throughout his long tenure with the company.
Beyond his professional life, Keith found joy in various passions and hobbies. He cherished his time spent at his camp at Nolin Lake in Kentucky, where he enjoyed boating and the serene beauty of nature. Keith was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, often seen riding his cherished Harley Davidson. His mechanical skills were exceptional, and he spent countless hours tinkering with and restoring cars, a testament to his love for bringing new life to classic vehicles.
Keith was not only a jack of all trades, but a master of most with many varied interest. He was always busy doing something and would help his family and friends any way he could. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Piccola Jean Willinger.
Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Donna Willinger, his sons, Peter Willinger (Beka) of Memphis, Indiana, his daughter, Leslie Jones (Nicki) of Sellersburg, his step-sons, Kevin Kennedy (Katie) of Sellersburg, Jeff Kennedy (Ella) of Sellersburg, his father, David William Willinger of Sellersburg, his sister, Pam French (Sam) of Sellersburg, Rita Trinkle (Todd) of Evansville, his grandchildren, Ty, Clayton, Georgia, Evie, Tinley and Rumor. Keith also leaves his four- legged sidekick, Simon Willinger to cherish his memory.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172). Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
