Dave Wilson was my neighbor for 50 years. He was a great neighbor. I babysat his kids when they were little and even though I lived right next door and could have easily walked home in minutes he always insisted upon driving me to make sure I got home safely. One time one of my trees fell on his property, another neighbor might have threatened us with a lawsuit or sent us a big bill from a tree removal company after having the tree cut up and removed, not Dave, he just said "don´t worry about it". When we blacktopped our driveway and needed a place to park our cars I asked him if we could park them in his driveway, his answer-sure, no problem. When I moved out of Milton in 2021 we started exchanging Christmas Cards. A few years later I was saddened to learn he´d suffered a stroke and had to leave his home and move in with one of daughters. Just 2 days ago I received the sad news that he died during surgery. Milton has lost one of its greatest residents. We miss you Dave. Your friend and former neighbor, Vivian Nesbitt.
