He was admitted on 2nd of December 2025 and endured two weeks of intensive care due to multiple heart attacks, a massive stroke and seizure. He was born in Mufulira Zambia on July 9th 1956 and went home to be with the LORD at 69 years of age. He had 2 wonderful parents, Stanley Ronald Wilson and Majorie Wilson who were born in Liverpool, England. David has two living brothers in South Africa, ( older brother) Raymond Stanley Wilson and (younger brother) Anthony Clive Wilson. David also leaves behind his wife (Patches) Suzette Wilson, his children Farrah Cox and Reno Wilson, and his grandchildren Kylee Arnett, Bow Cox , Chloe Cox, Nikita Wilson and Nathaniel Wilson.
Here are a few words what David meant to his family. My husband was amazing in many ways, he loved his family, was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. He always found a way to help us whether it was physically ,financially, or through words of wisdom. He has told us some great stories of his life growing up, some funny ones and some that were great life lessons. He was more of an at home family kind of man.
He was always proud of both our kids and for the wonderful adults they have become. The grandkids loved him very much, and he left them with some great lessons for life. One of Davids' favorite hobbies he enjoyed much was ham radio and anything electronics, satellite tech, space x , and anything to do with nasa. He used this passion to start an on-going business installing satellite dishes and communication technology for multiple companies. We actually met at Sun City in Bophuthatswana, South Africa where he worked as a slot machine technician.
He was amazing at anything he did and put his mind to. He will always be loved and be remembered for who he was. We will never forget you!
From Ray and Tony,
We would like to convey our deepest sadness and shock over David's passing. He was a person that always followed his dreams and one of his dreams was to leave South Africa and live in the United States. Dave was a person who believed in dreams and he nearly always made them come true. He will be truly missed and we have all the wonderful memories of the times together. He will always be loved. Rest well our Brother. RAYMOND RONALD AND ANTHONY CLIVE!
"My grandpa was a smart, loving, and funny person who brought so much joy to our family. He always knew how to make us laugh and was there for us with his wisdom and kindness- Kylee Arnett
David, my Father in law, was a man with a giving heart who loved his family and cherished his loved ones ! He is deeply missed- Justin Cox
Dad was full of knowledge and wisdom. He taught me and his grandchildren so much! He literally always had the answers and direction for everything. He also could almost fix anything! He always went out of his way to help others and had such a giving heart. He cherished time with his family and friends. For now our hearts ache missing him but we long for and anticipate the time we will see him again. You are loved and missed so much- Farrah Cox"
