My condolences to the family. Mr Wurst was a great mentor to me back in the early 70´s. As a young Engineer straight out of college and working for Zurn Ind, I had the good fortune to work with him in building and operating an advanced Wastewater treatment plant for Holiday Inn South in Erie. He took the time to educate and teach me the difference between book learning and the real world of construction and operation and did so in a manner that expanded my knowledge and did not tear me down. We subsequently worked closely in building an industrial treatment plant in Ridgeway, PA and a municipal plant at Lake Wallenpaupauk Estates in the Pocono´s. His guidance and good grounding on the Construction side allowed me to go on to a career of building plants around the world and most importantly, understand and embrace the responsibility to mentor and lift up the young people I had the good fortune to work with. You were blessed to know a good man.
