David Richard "Rick" Yager

Rick was born to Edna Lois (nee Dudding) and William Jacob Yager on November 19, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is the beloved husband of Donna (nee Lauck) Yager; devoted father of Michael (Angela) Yager and Danielle (Kevin) Benedict; cherished grandfather of Collin (Kari) Yager, Cody (Shawnee) Yager, Michaela (Zachary) Ritt, Ashley Benedict, Christina Benedict and great-grandfather to Maverick, Isabella, Ilenna, Zaydan, Mason and Baby Yager who is on the way; loving brother of William (Cheryl) Yager, Marcia (Christine Waltz) Yager, the late Carleen Yager and the late Cora Sue Duncan.
Rick was a skilled painter and owner of Yager Painting & Decorating. In his spare time he loved to hunt and fish, forming close bonds with his hunting dogs. But more than anything, he was a family man who loved to spend time with those who meant the most to him.
A visitation for Rick will be held at Paul R. Young Funeral Home in Mt. Healthy on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 10 am until time of funeral service at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in Rick's memory are welcome to contribute to the family's funeral fund and can call Paul R. Young Funeral Home to set up their contribution.
