Angels were sent down to call upon another angel.

Davina  "Diva" Marie Darveaux was born on January 13, 2006 to Stephanie Darveaux and Ronald Wyatt in Overland Park, Kansas. She was baptized at St. Leo Catholic Church in Pipestone, Minnesota and later received her first communion at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Alexandria, Minnesota. She was raised and attended school in Pipestone. During her high school years, she worked at Hank's Foods and enjoyed coaching peewee gymnastics. In 2024, she graduated from Pipestone High School and was enrolled into UMD (Duluth) with a major in criminology. On Saturday, July 13, 2024, Davina's life tragically ended in a car accident in Moody County, near Flandreau, South Dakota at the age of 18 years.

Davina was truly an old soul. She loved theatre at a young age. Singing and dancing were her passion; she practically lived for art and music. She excelled in gymnastics and broke the school record for pole vaulting in track and field; not once, not twice but thrice! Davina loved to crochet during her down time; she had a skill for anything she could put her hands on. Longboarding and lifting weights were also her hobbies. She was such a social butterfly; she loved hanging out with her friends and boyfriend, Carter. She made everyone feel safe and could talk to anyone. She was easy to love and was so loved and adored by many! She will be especially remembered by her contagious smile; it would light up a room! Davina’s energy was infectious – she truly lived life to the fullest. She was intelligent and especially witty that she would make you question yourself along with always teaching you something. Davina’s sense of style would reflect her unique personality and her love for fashion. Taking photos to document her life was important to her.

She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Stephanie Darveaux of Pipestone; her father, Ronald Wyatt and his daughter, Juanita of St. Louis, Missouri; her grandparents, Timothy (Dorothy) Darveaux of Pipestone, Margaret "Maggie" Zacher of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Rickie Bratton of St. Louis, Missouri, and Janet Wyatt of St. Louis, Missouri; her uncle, Dustin (Lindsey) Darveaux and their children, Paisley, Bennett, James and Charlie of Maple Grove, Minnesota; her great-grandmother, Theresa Persing of Leota, Minnesota; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her uncle, David Anthony Darveaux; great-grandfather, Henry Darveaux; great-grandmother, Dolores Darveaux; great-grandfather, Vincent Persing; uncle, Paul Darveaux; and step grandfather, Terrance Zacher.

Her absence is like the sky, spread over everything. ~ C.S. Lewis
