Dawn Billman

With heavy hearts but in humble acceptance of God’s divine will, we announce that Dawn Billman (Holmes) was called to her eternal rest on June 1, 2024, at the tender age of 52 in Brainerd, Minnesota. Born on February 5, 1972, in the same town, she was a cherished daughter of Frank (Holmes) and Caroline (Borg). 

 

Dawn was a devoted servant of the Lord and a nurturing mother to her beloved children Zachary, Nathan (Alicia), Gabrielle (Fabian), and Hiedi (Bruce). Her life was a living testament to the virtues of patience, love, and caring. 

 

Blessed with the joy of six grandchildren- Elijah, Bentley, Elizabeth, Lillian, Kaiden and Elliot- Dawn rejoiced in their presence and showered them with unconditional love, reflecting the grace and bounty of God’s creation. She found great happiness in the laughter and innocence of these young souls and was a guiding light in their lives. 

 

Her spirit, imbued with gratitude and respect for all of God’s works, will be profoundly missed by her mother, sisters, her children and their spouses, her grandchildren and all of those whose lives she touched. Dawn now joins in paradise her father, Frank, and her brother Frankie, who preceded her in their journey to the Lord. 

 

We invite family, friends, and those whose lives were graced by Dawn’s gentle spirit to gather in celebration of her life and her ascension into the Kingdom of Heaven. Please join us on Saturday, June 15th, 2024, at the Staples Assembly of God Church, where we will honor her memory and commend her soul to God’s loving embrace.  Viewing will be held at 10 a.m., with the service following at 11 a.m.
