Dawn was my professor at CU back in 2017/2018 and she made a memorable impact on my experience as a student. She was kind, encouraging, and always challenged us to work hard towards our personal and career goals. I always appreciated seeing her on campus, knowing that she never failed to smile and wave - even after I was no longer in her class. She will be remembered fondly and missed dearly

I did not know Dawn personally but my daughter did - she was one of her students and also in PRSSA. Dawn was a huge inspiration to her. That kind of mentor is a once-in-lifetime kind of person and I am glad their lives intersected at CU. I am very sad to hear of her passing.

Dawn was one of the early hires for the APRD program when the new college was being formed at CU, and she helped recruit the original PR faculty to that program. She taught so many courses for us, with constant praise coming from the students who she helped find employment. She was always generous with her time and gracious in spirit.
She is already missed.

Dawn was a phenomenal professor and mentor. She is the reason I was able to kickstart my career and be the person I am today.
She introduced me to not one, but both of my amazing bosses and other mentors. She was instrumental and helping me find my path, both personally and professionally.
She will be greatly greatly missed.

Dawn was a class act who consistently demonstrated integrity and thoughtfulness. She has left too soon a world that needs to see these behaviors more often.

Dawn was a true highlight of my experience at CU Boulder and her passion for PR really ignited my interest in the industry. Dawn shaped me as a student and then later as a PR professional. Always the biggest cheerleader with an unmatched energy for life, I owe so much of who I am professionally to her. I will miss her.

Dawn was a valiant and inspiring warrior as she fought cancer. I admire her courage, her dedication to our profession and the joy she derived from teaching and mentoring aspiring professionals. I cherish many fond memories of the years she worked at Linhart Public Relations. She personified creativity, energy, PR expertise and leadership. My heart goes out to her family and her beloved husband Matt.

Dawn was one in a million. We had wonderful times in Chicago and I´m so glad she and Matt found each other. To know her was to love her. My thoughts are with Matt and her family.
