Dawn Foye Obituary
ALLEGANY --- Dawn C. Whitehead Foye, 50, passed away unexpectedly Saturday (September 28, 2024) at home with her loving husband of 25 years, Sean Foye, by her side.
Born April 17, 1974, in Olean, she was the daughter of Allan and Cindy Whitehead who survive.
Dawn was a 1992 graduate of Olean High School. She went on to work for the The Pines of Olean as an LPN.
Dawn loved to travel, to be on the beach, and enjoyed the sunshine. She also enjoyed shopping, crafting, and watching the Buffalo Bills. Dawn was devoted to her family and enjoyed the time she spent with them.
In addition to her loving husband and parents, she is survived by her children Danielle (Kyle) Crowley and RJ (Hailee) Pilon; grandchildren Karson, Landon, Kaiden, Zaidyn, and Paisley; her siblings Allan (Tonya) Whitehead, Jason (Amber) Whitehead, and Deanna (Dave) Zenner; her nieces and nephews Willy, Brooke, Jayleigh, Jared,Ciera, Kalynne and Tristin; and several great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son Nicholas Whitehead in 1999 and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday (October 2, 2024) from 5-8 at the Casey, Halwig, and Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Road, Olean. A funeral will be held Thursday (October 3, 2024) at 11 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

My mom is at The Pines of Olean and I knew Dawn from there. I loved her and was disappointed when she left B wing. This is heartbreaking

Dawn was so amazing I worked with her when I was still a "baby nurse" she helped me grow and learn so much and was always supportive of me and helped me better myself and my career. I couldn´t have asked for a better more caring and loving person to help me grow and flourish

Dawn was a amazing person and nurse that cared about everyone. And loved her family so much..Been along time since I seen her ..but will always remember all the talks we had in the parking lot at The Pines after work..you will be missed my friend until we meet again
