Dawn Mobley Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Irvin Macz Funeral Home - Centralia on Nov. 23, 2021.
Dawn Mobley, 57, of Centralia, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021, at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. On April 13, 1964, she was born the daughter of Forrest and Alice (Byrne) Marske in Chicago, IL. She married the love of her life and best friend, Walter Mobley on March 13, 2001 in Salem. Walter survives in Centralia.
Dawn was the devoted wife to Walter Mobley for over 20 years; loving mother to Alice Loyd (Lindsey) of Centralia, William Scott(Cassandra) of Centralia, Michael Olson (Melisssa Boughers) of Centralia, Amanda Olson of Centralia; cherished MaMaw to, Isaac, Felicity, Peyton, Chase, Brooklynn, Paizlynn, Aubriella, Mckenna, Zayden, Braylee, Madilyn, Brayden, Raylynn, Talayah, Janaya, Bryan, A'yana; and 1 great-grandson, Paxton; dearly loved by her siblings Chip Marske (Ann) of MI, Kathy "Mary" McDaniel (Jay) of Chicago; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Alice Marske; 1 sister, and 1 brother.
Dawn's greatest joy was loving and caring for her family. Her title MaMaw was her favorite one, she was always wanting to be with her grandchildren. Dawn was a member of City Hope Church, and really adored her Church Family there too. Dawn was fond of getting out of the house and taking car rides. She loved all animals and would occasionally take in a stray if they needed her loving care. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured the time spent with her family.
Celebration of life services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor Seth Baltzell officiating. Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to visiting hours at the Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2021.
