Dayshaanne Arroyo Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Prospect Memorial Funeral & Cremation Services on Jan. 27, 2026.
In Loving Memory of Dayshanne "Daysha" Arroyo

Dayshanne Arroyo passed away on January 20, 2026, after bravely fighting injuries sustained in a life threatening accident on January 2, 2026, on Bunker Hill Avenue. She showed incredible strength and resilience throughout her fight and was surrounded by love until the very end.

Known lovingly as Daysha, Dizzy, Mook, and D Money, Dayshanne was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. Above all else, she was a loving mother to four beautiful children, who were the center of her world and the driving force behind everything she did.

She is survived by her children, in birth order: Chase Bryan (age 9), Ava'lynn Bryan (age 7), Cash'mere Arroyo (age 2), and Kahloni Arroyo (age 1); her mother, Sharon Bertrand; her father, John Irizary; her eldest brother, Damon; her younger brother, Juan; her beloved niece, Ariella Anne Bertrand, and nephew, Kymir Irizary; along with extended family and a wide circle of friends who became family through her love and loyalty.

Dayshanne had a rare ability to make people feel safe, welcomed, and understood. She was known for her honesty, humor, strength, and her unbreakable bond with those she loved. To her friends, Daysha was a protector-someone who stood up for others, never let anyone stand alone, and opened her home and heart without hesitation.

Her presence brought laughter, comfort, and unforgettable memories-through long conversations, loud music, shared celebrations, and simply being there when it mattered most. Once you were part of her life, you were family for life.

Though her time here was far too short, Dayshanne's impact will live on through her children, her family, and everyone whose life she touched. Her strength, love, and spirit will never be forgotten.

Dayshanne "Daysha" Arroyo will be remembered always-for her heart, her courage, her laughter, and the deep love she gave so freely.

Forever Daysha. Dizzy. Mook. D Money.
Forever loved. Forever missed.

The last time I seen you was 2018. We were 19, we went out and you ended up going back up north. I never thought that would be the last time I would see you in person, we made plans about seeing one another. We were best friends when we were just 14 going on 15. I kept you close cause you were the first person to ever defend me. Your grandma took me in like her own. We spent Christmas together, we laughed, we cried, and most of all we had fun and showed each other love. I´ll never forget that, little did I know 2018 would be the last time I would hug my friend and spend time together. I found out I was pregnant October 12th of 2025 and you were the first person I texted that night because I had to tell someone and you literally got so excited, it was a scary moment for me but we shared it and you told me I would be fine. So many memories I hold close and cherish. Thank you for always calling me your best friend from Florida. Thank you for loving me, for pouring life into me, I wish we had so much more time. Kiss grandma Bette for me. I´ll see you soon, I love you for life bestie I hope you always remember that.

I love you for eternity, as the oldest of all my siblings, I say this in the humblest way possible. I´m supposed to be the first to go, not you especially at such a young age. You were a beautiful soul and I don´t think I´ll ever get over losing you and grandma, we literally had a conversation that if I ever died you´d crash out not knowing how to cope because you knew I always had you, now I´m spiraling down, missing you

It breaks my heart to have to say goodbye but I know you at peace and up there with the greats continue to watch over us all. Keep Dame and Juan strong when they´re weak and keep pushing your mom from up there to be the best version that you know she could be . Our last word was summer of 2025 and the hug you gave me I will never forget. With D there was always good laughs. D you may be gone but never forgotten LLD
