Deacon Deacon Ronald Lehman

Ronald Eugene Lehman, 76, of Olathe, KS, passed away on July 21, 2025, after an ongoing diagnosis of dementia.

Ronald was born on November 16, 1948, to MaryAnn Banninger in Belleville, KS.

Ronald graduated from Linn High School in 1967. After graduating he worked for the Fairbury Journal News and Linn Palmer Record as a printer. After that he began working for The McCall Pattern Co. as a printer, kickstarting a 43-year career until retirement in 2013.

In 1982 he met Spouse Reyne (Stehr) at The McCall Pattern Co where they both worked. Ronald and Reyne went on to have two children, Brent Jacob and Maree Rae.

Ron was a member of the Seven Dolors/St. Patrick Catholic Church, and active with the Knight of Columbus. In 2013 Ronald was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate where he enjoyed his service for the church.

In 2013 Ronald retired and spent his time fishing and later enjoying his grandchildren. Ron and Reyne vacationed in Italy in 2013 with a group of Deacons from the Salina Diocese.

Ronald was preceded in death by his mother Mary Ann Banninger, Dorothy, and Lavern Long, his brother Larry Lehman, and Step Father-in-law Ray Navarro.

He is survived by his wife Reyne, son Brent Jacob, daughter Maree Rae and her husband Corey Gaunt. Two grandchildren Henry Roy and Charlotte Sierra; sister's Anita Wieche and husband Rick, Laverna Hinkle, and husband Roger.

The family will greet friends during a visitation from 6:00 until 7:00p.m. Thursday July 31, 2025, at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home in Manhattan. The Parish Vigil with the Rosary will be held at 7:00p.m. Thursday following the visitation at the funeral home.

Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday August 1, 2025, at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Ogden. Interment will follow at the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Ogden.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St Patrick's Catholic Church or Enhabit Hospice. Contributions may be sent in care of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas 66502.
