Dean Geer

Dean Michael "Deano" Geer, age 66, of Shawano, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025. Born on March 18, 1959, to the late Norman and Marjorie (Reynolds) Geer in Oshkosh, WI. He was united in marriage to Lynn Shelby in 2015. She later passed away in 2023. Dean was always cheerful and a happy-go-lucky type of man. Dean's kindness preceded him and would never have a bad word to say about anybody. He was selfless and would give his last dollar if someone needed it. Those who knew Dean also knew he was the life of any party. In his free time, he was an avid Packer fan and made sure never to miss a game. Dean found peace when he was in nature and always took the time to fish and hunt. He was very close with his friends and family and will always be known as a very loving brother and friend and will be deeply missed

Dean is survived by: his siblings, John Geer and Sharon Geer; his nephews. Jerry (Aaron) Will and Xander Will; his cousin, Mark Heiser; Sarah Geer and Jessica Seefeldt; his half-brother, Terry Boevee.

He is preceded in death by: his wife Lynn; his parents Norman and Marjorie; his siblings, Pamela Rice, Diane Allen, and James Geer.

A celebration of life will be held in May.
