Jan and family - you all are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time! Our family loved Dean and miss him! Our girls went to Guatemala with him and Jan a few times. Jan and Dean always treated our girls as family. We will miss his hugs and his contagious smile. As our hearts are breaking, we know he is in heaven doing great things with his buddy Brian. Until we meet again.

Dean had a great love for Jesus and served mankind with that same love. He lived his Christian faith openly and gave of his time and talents in service to that faith. He was an example of what it means to be a Christian. May we all remember his example and live our lives doing the same. You have our deepest sympathies, Jan.

So hard to say goodbye to a friend, mentor, and brother in Christ! He made everyone he met feel valued and loved. He gave all he had for Jesus until the end and I am blessed to have shared some of his journey!
