Dean Allen Masterson, of Cape Girardeau, MO, passed away December 13th, 2025, at the age of 82. Cherished son of the late Robert Allen and Betty Ann Masterson (nee’ Dunn).
Dean graduated from Cape Central High School in 1961. After graduation, Dean enter the Air Force where he served until 1967, when he was honorably discharged. Dean was a proud member of VFW Post 3838 and Cape Eagles 3775.
Dean is survived by his daughter, Shea Masterson and grandson, Ryan P. Jr, both of Wentzville, MO, his second daughter, Karenya Jenkins of St. Louis, and his best friend of many years, Donna Farrow of Jackson, MO. Per my dad’s request, there will be no services. He will be cremated at Baue Funeral Home, then his ashes will be interred at Bloomfield Veterans Cemetery.
To those who knew him best, Dean was a quiet, steady presence who loved baseball, peanuts in his Pepsi, and the simple comforts of home. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
