Dean Rathbun passed away on September 29 2025 at his home that he so dearly loved. He said this land was his little sanctuary. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan on November 27, 1951.
He leaves behind his wife and best friend of a lifetime, married on Nov 9, 1970, to Mary Lou Parks, their wonderful daughter Brenda and her just as wonderful husband that is like a son, Chad Fath. He is survived by two grandsons, Matt Rathbun, Steven Rathbun and fiancé Jessica Fritz, great grandchildren Braxton and Mason, 2 step great grandchildren, Jaylee and Brody. Dean is also survived by his siblings and their spouses, James and wife Karen Rathbun, Jackie Berg, Walter Rathbun and wife Debbie, sister-in-law Linda Rathbun, brother-in-law and his wife, Larry A Parks and Valerie.
Dean is meeting up with our first-born son Brian Rathbun at heaven's gate. A meeting that has been on hold for almost 5 years. He was predeceased by his parents Walter Leonard Rathbun and Rosalie Mae Plank,his mother in law that was like a mother to him also Marjorie Gould, 2 brothers Thomas Rathbun and Terry Rathbun, his brother-in-law Gordon Berg and God Daughter Wendy Berg-Rager. There is no service planned at this time.
