South Jordan, UT - Deanna Aldrich Brown, loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on November 19, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Deanna was born January 31, 1948, in Salt Lake City, UT, to Nathan Steve Aldrich and Norma Grace Ames. Deanna was the first of nine children and spent her childhood in Salt Lake City, graduating from Olympus High School in 1965. She met her sweetheart and love of her life, Kenneth Stanley Brown, at the young age of 14, and later married on June 26th, 1966, in the Salt Lake City Temple. In June, they celebrated their 59th anniversary.

She served in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and especially enjoyed serving in Young Women's and Cub Scouts.

The greatest joy and honor for Deanna was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to be with her family, and they became the joy and primary focus of her life. She enjoyed hosting large family dinners and playing family games. She also enjoyed spending time with her family doing crafts and going camping. She had a special place in her heart for Hebgen Lake, near West Yellowstone, MT, where she celebrated her honeymoon and many summer vacations with her family. She also enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and the Caribbean with her sisters and their spouses.

We will dearly miss Deanna, who loved to go out to lunch and shopping with her girls. She was the foundation of our family and was always there for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Stanley Brown; her children, Becky Bateman (Norman), Trisha Brown, Jennifer Zeman (Jerald), Phillip Brown (Stephanie), and Carol Jordan, 18 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on November 29th, 2025, at the South Jordan LDS meeting house, 1988 West 11400 South, South Jordan, UT, at 11:00 am. A viewing will be held on November 28th at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 South), from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and at the church prior to services from 10:00 to 10:45 am.
